Kristen & Brian's Winter Wedding in New Jersey

It is an extra special wedding, and a little challenging, when you are the mother of the bride as well as the event designer and the florist! Thanks to my team and my “village” for making it all happen.

Kristen was dreaming of a white wedding and even though mother nature didn’t provide snow, it was a perfect and magical day. The Lodge at The Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge was the ideal venue for Kristen and Brian, a little bit rustic, a little bit edgy, warm and cozy (blazing fire-pit with some-mores….YES please)! The attentive staff and the cuisine were also incredible. Forgive me if this proud mama shares a few more photos than a typical blog post! Images by Stephen Govel Photography

Congressional Country Club Winter Wedding Styled Shoot

We were so inspired by the holiday decor at Congressional Country Club that we knew we had to put together a winter wedding styled shoot!  Kate and Lily provided the decor and worked with Samantha at Congressional on the table settings.  We used lots of evergreens, white peonies and ranunculus, and added the silver of dusty miller and brunia berries, along with clear and mercury glass to get that icy winter look in our decor.  Our sweet bride braved the freezing temperatures while still looking exquisite!  Anna Grace Photography is the talent behind these stunning photos.  We love how she features the bokah lights (that's the magical effect of the lights in the background- I had to look it up) and perfectly captures elegance of the setting and the wonder of winter.

Thanks again to our talented model, the staff at Congressional Country Club and Anna Grace Photography for helping us to create this winter wonderland inspiration!
